This Privacy Policy governs the way Travel-Rooms collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the https://travel-rooms.com/ website (“Site”). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by Travel-Rooms

Personal identification information

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways in connection with activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.

Non-personal identification information

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

Web browser cookies

Our Site may use “cookies” to enhance User experience. User’s web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. User may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If they do so, note that some parts of the Site may not function properly.

How we protect your information

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.

Sharing your personal information

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above.

Changes to this privacy policy

We have the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

Your acceptance of these terms

By using this Site, you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.

Herewith our standard terms to govern all our rentals.

PERIOD OF RENTAL

The Guest shall take occupation of the premises after 14h00 on the day of arrival unless otherwise arranged and agreed by both parties.

The Guest shall vacate the premises and restore possession thereof to the Villa/Apartment Owner at 11h00 on the date of departure unless otherwise arranged and agreed by both parties.

If the Guest wishes to extend the period of rental, this can be arranged with us on the following conditions:

The property must be available for a further rental period;

The extension must be agreed to in writing by the Guest and Travel-Rooms on behalf of the owner and shall be null and void unless signed by both parties.

The additional rental to be paid shall be agreed to in writing.

The breakage deposit shall not be used to pay for such additional rental.

The Guest undertakes to vacate the premises and restore possession thereof to the Villa Owner at 11h00 on the agreed extended day of departure.

For arrivals and departures between 6pm and 8am, a late or early check-in/ -out fee of R350 is charged and will be added to your invoice.

GUEST

The Guest shall not be entitled to sub-let or to permit any other parties than those stipulated above, to occupy the premises.

The Guest shall not be entitled to cede or assign all or any of his/her rights in terms of this agreement, without the written consent of Travel-Rooms acting on behalf of the Villa Owner.

RESERVATION TERMS & CONDITIONS

The reservation of a villa/apartment(s) shall only be confirmed once Travel-Rooms receives the specified deposit (50% as per quote or provisional booking).

The outstanding rental is due 30 days prior to arrival. Should the full rental not be paid 30 days prior to arrival, the central reservation is entitled to cancel the reservation made, 48 hours after a written reminder is sent to the client on the due day of payment.

For all bookings made less than 30 days prior to arrival, the complete rental is payable once off.

The check in time for the premises shall be at or after 14h00 on the occupation date and checkout time shall be at or before 11h00 on the termination date.

The deposit shall be paid to Travel-Rooms by direct deposit or Card Payment (into our account). The confirmation of the deposit (for bank transfers only) shall be e-mailed to [email protected]

The Guest acknowledges that unless such confirmation is e-mailed to Travel-Rooms , it will not be possible to identify the payment and allocate it to the credit of the Guest.

BREAKAGE DEPOSIT

The Guest shall pay Travel-Rooms a breakage deposit as per the invoice prior to arrival. Such sum shall be held as a deposit in the account of the Villa Specialist and the Villa Owner and/or Travel-Rooms shall have the right to apply the whole or portion thereof towards payment of any liability of whatever nature for which the Guest is responsible, including but not limited to damages caused to the premises, replacement of items missing in inventory and legal fees, if necessary.

We shall retain the breakage deposit until all repairs and/or replacements have been completed. Should none be necessary, the security deposit will be refunded to the guest upon check out.

The Guest will not be allowed to take occupation until the full rental and breakage deposit has been paid.

COMPLAINTS ARISING

The Guest undertakes to contact Travel-Rooms as soon as possible should any complaints or problems arise during the course of their stay so that these can be remedied. Travel-Rooms cannot be held responsible for issues out of their control such as failure of the water supply, electricity, telephone and internet services, pool filtration, or any of the appliances. Travel-Rooms also does not have control over building works on neighbouring villas. Travel-Rooms undertakes to resolve any problems to the best of their ability as soon as possible once notified of them. Complaints or problems must be brought to our attention as soon as possible during the Guest’s stay as neither Travel-Rooms nor the Villa Owner can be expected to help if only notified following departure.

In the event that the Guest vacates the property without notification during the rental period, the Guest will lose any rights they might otherwise have had to compensation.

CANCELLATION

30 - 45 days before arrival – No cancelation fee is applied.

15 – 29 days before arrival – 25% cancelation fee will be charged.

5 – 14 days before arrival – 50% cancelation fee will be charged.

No refund for cancelations less than 4 days before arrival.

 

All Guests are advised to take out travel insurance
